Default New guy with 81 CC

I just picked up 81 Electric CC, it runs pretty good, the batteries don't hold a charge for very well but i think they are about 6 years old. it is in really good shape and I was pretty happy with the buy, I ended up paying the guy $200 for it. I think that was a pretty good deal. Are there any problems that are common on the the 81's I should know about? What is a good cheaper battery, this is going to start off as a budget build. can I get a lift kit for this year? sorry from rambling I just have a ton of questions.

Welcome to the forum justbrew77..................

I'm an Okie transplanted in Texas.

If your cart has 3 pedals, the cart is called a Caroche, unlike the newer DS and Precedent models which have 2 pedals.

The master cylinder usually goes bad on these at some point but can be replaced.

(If your cart has the 2 pedals, you wont have a master cylinder.)

Old batteries and old cables will always cause problems on any cart.
