93 Club Car DS Canopy

I have a 93 Club Car DS with a cracked canopy. I have located a canopy top from a 2002 Club Car DS (located 50 miles from my house). My question is has anyone tried to adapt a 2000.5 or newer canopy to a older style DS using the older style DS top supports (struts)? Thanks in advance for your help.

The older supports are smaller than the newer ones.
Could you make it work? Probably, but it would more than likely be ugly...
The newer style supports bolt right onto the older bodies though, so if you can find some supports to go with that newer roof, that would be the way to go...

I put a precedent top on my 83 DS and then moved it to my 97 DS. I think it looks great on my cart

Did you use the supports that came with the cart? Or did you use the supports that came with the top?

The stock supports, but modified the canopy mounts.
