Default Help in identifying and troubleshooting hesitation

OK I am new to golf carts, but I am somewhat technically inclined. My work has purchased a club car with the following ID numbers AA0133-051872 What year and model is it? Second this cart was in bad shape. It had a lot of corrosion all over the frame under the batteries. We have replaced the batteries, rebuilt the frame using aluminum angle, and replaced all of the battery wiring, after doing all of this the cart runs fine except it has a hesitation of about 1 to 2 seconds on take off and the battery light keeps cutting on and off. Now when it is charging it trips the breaker on the front of the charger instead of the charger just cutting off also. If any of this makes sense thanks for your help.

Problem solved. The car came with 6VDC batteries and we assumed it was 36 volt system. The controller is a 48VDC controller and we now have new batteries on the way. Should fix all the problems. Thanks for the assist and this is a great site.

Welcome to the forum jburrus.................

Well, that was an easy fix.

Let us know if you need anything else.

Oh by the way....... your cart is a year 2001, DS model and is probably a Regen model too. It's a good cart!
