What a piece of crap. I took a tester and found the hot wire and then a touched each connection until it worked. 6 wires and four are dummy's. I've got the two spliced for now until I can find a switch.

I can't remember the name of them right now, but yep, that's pretty normal for those set ups. When I worked for GM in the late 80's we had more problems out of those things. I removed more of those than I even care to think about.

I used to have a bunch of the lighted versions of those key fobs in my tool box to use as mini flashlights for under dash work. The next time I get to my garage I'll look to see if I have any of them left in the tool box, but no guarantees since I usually threw 'em away when the battery went dead.

I called a friend of mine. It is called a ProLock and the bad news is the company went out of business long ago. The common fix for a lost key was putting a quarter across the connections.

I haven't found one yet, but he said he might have a couple and is checking for me.
