Default 36v to 48v charger conversion

Hello all
I have a question and dont know the answer so ill ask you all. I just bought a 48v club car with no charger, I have a 36v charger from an older cc. Can I change the outlet cord and make it work on the 48v cart???? if not does antone have one they want to trade on?????

Sorry harley (that was too easy had to do it lol),
But your 36v charger wont charge your 48v cart- it will max out at 36v and shut off and never get close to the 48v range.
One way many people get around mismatch charger issues is to use 2 chargers. 36v charger plus 12v charger= 48v. This method requires a lot of re-wiring before and after charging and gets quite tedious (from experience) but always an option in a pinch...
Best bet is to just get the correct 48v charger.
