Please read my serial # and tell me what year
The serial number on my CC electric is VZR970107 just under the dash. The seller told me it was a '97 . This number was white letters on red tapewriter tape. Is this normal?
It was originally a 36v and he converted it to a 48v. Did they make 36v carts in '97? Another number I found was on the frame rail 34283. What does this mean? The cart looks original, but I had in my mind a '97 should have already been a 48v......? |

No that is not normal. That is not a serial number for a club car. Club car serial/model numbers will be on an aluminum tag. 97 could have been either a 36 or 48 depending on the model.
