The guide for the Lestronic 2 worked just fine. I was able to verify that the electronic timer was bad and needs to be replaced. Thanks again.

Using the manual for the Lestronic 2, I was able to verify that it was the electronic timer that went bad. Thanks again.

Thanks for letting us know that it helped but most importantly, you got your problem solved!

Hopefully we'll get someone on BGW that has a troubleshooting guide for a PD2 as well!

I didnt think the powerdrive 2 had an electronic charger on it - i thought the OBC controlled this?

If I understand the question - it's not hard to add a timer to a powerdrive (or any) bulk charger. But pulling it down from 48V to 36V seems highly unlikely without at least changing out the transformer (which would cost more than buying a new 36V charger).

No he wasn't adding a timer he SD the electronic timer in his Powerdrive 2 charger went bad. I didnt think PD2's had a timer thanks to the carts OBC.

PD2's don't have a timer - it must be an after-market add on piece. In any case - he would need to modify or replace the PD2 transformer to convert it from 48V to 36V - not something that seems worthwhile to attempt.
