CC 2006 DS - Lights and Dash Question

Hello,

A couple of quick questions regarding my 06 DS (48v - standard 4 seater).

- Is this enough information to determine if the cart is already pre-wired for lights? How do I tell if the cart is already light ready? I have my cutouts made, just getting ready to wire up.

- I want to install a new silver dash on my cart. Is this an easy install? I am not looking at the elite dash with speaker locations as I want the glove box space.

1.) I don't think any DS year was ever prewired for lights, I think that was only Precedent models.
2.) I have no experience installing a dash on a cart, but I don't see it being too difficult. I do know that there are ones where you have to pull the steering wheel, which is a real pain I've heard!

. . . I have a 2006 DS . . it is not prewired for lights as Jakesnake mentioned . . and the steering wheel can be a real bugger to remove, so be prepared . . . I installed a new dash and it was not difficult . . mine just required drilling pilot holes in the aluminum trim around existing dash for new facade to screw up to . . have fun and post pics of your progress . . .

i just installed head and tail lights in my ds yesterday and while it was not prewired for lights, if you order one of the head and taillight kits with a wiring harness it is really easy to install. it might have taken me 15 minutes to run all of the wires and plug them up and get them zip tied and up out of the way.
