Also why is our 36 Club Car much slower than our same year 36 Volt EZ-GO? Everyone always asks me.....How should I know? I'm not a mechanic....I'm an Electrician that rides a Fast Harley.....

Not sure if it makes a difference. But my solenoid is different. It looks like this one.

So I Swapped out solenoid with another style we had in stock for our EZ Go. I have forward but no reverse. I hear the solenoid click in both directions. Does the diode have anything to do with it. I guessed at installing because the original had no markings. Our EZ Go has the diode across the Large terminals. The Club Car OEM had it on the smaller terminals. I installed it on the smaller terminals. Maybe I need to switch in other direction
