I wasn't very clear in my last response. I was able to get the cart to move back and forth in the garage after flipping both switches several times and the reverse buzzer worked again. What do you think? Could it be the ignition or f/r switch? Thanks.

what i was asking is this problem still or did the reset fix this
if not the controller may be going bad .. f/r might be bad

I'll try it on the road today. It just struck me odd that once I reset the obc I got nothing when I turned the switch on. Only when I jiggled the ignition switch and f/r switch did I get movement and reverse buzzer. The ignition switch might have some extra movement it it....anything else to check while I'm out on the road?

you may have a loose wire if you are getting different things happening when you "jiggle"

No luck today. I took it out this afternoon for a short spin. 30 seconds into acceleration it died but immediately picked again. Sometimes i kept my foot on the pedal and it restarted, other times I had to let off then depress and it would restart. It did the stop/start several times over a 5 minute period. I noticed on one occasion it was running about half speed with the throttle all the way to the floor. Before the test drive I reset the obc and obviously that didn't help. I've attempted to reset it 3 times and not once has the reverse buzzer gone off as noted in the instructions. I wonder why? Did I even reset it with the buzzer not going off? 2 to 3 minutes after the obc is reset the reverse buzzer works. So what do you think could be the cause of this? Controller? F/w or ignition switch? Other? Can a diagnostic check be done on the controller?

could be speed sensor or controller
may be a good idea to post again with a new topic .. like 2008 shuts down
give all info and include photo of serial number ... see if someone responds .. i could keep guessing but maybe someone with more knowledge will talk you through it

This sounds like a classic MCOR failure. Drive the car in reverse and wait Til it shuts down. Does the buzzer stop when the car stops or does the buzzer stay on? Let me know and we will move on

I greatly appreciate it David. Sounds potentially expensive. I'll try it tonight and get back with you. By the way, how long should it take for it to shut down in reverse? Tim
