They look the same. Only difference is where the shaft goes in it is not splined on a Precedent. It's more of an oval shape. The actual MCOR itself looks the same.

Don't mean to butt in but I've been watching this thread and was having similar issues with my 09 CC precedent. Tried the paper clip and it worked. So now my question is do I buy a new or used mcor. If new where would ya'll recommend and what exactly am I looking for. Does anyone have a part #? Also I have 2 bolts on the pedal assembly that are rusted and can't get an alan wrench on them. I was able to get one with vise grips but the other one I think I'm gonna need to heat up. How hot can I get the aluminum around the bolt?

David, I've taken a photo of the MCOR area.....I think. The 2 pin connector is on the left so I'll jump the two wires together within the connector. Couple of questions: the run/tow switch stays in run? Do any of the battery cables need to be disconnected? Here's a real stupid question: the MCOR itself, is it within the "black box" shown in the photo and accessible from underneath or elsewhere???? Thanks!

The two pin connector on the left is for your brake lights. Leave the switch in RUN. I need you to drive the car. Don't unhook the battery cables either. The car won't run until you hit the accelerator. I've attached a photo to show the MCOR
