Default 2008 club car

When I press the accelerator it moves normally then shuts off. Immediately press the accelerator and it moves. Sometimes you can 100 feet before it shuts off. Then it restarts instantly. What could cause this?

So this a faulty solenoid in the braking system? Even though the brake pedal itself doesn't actually engage? And it's not just Ezgo, club car as well? So where do I obtain this part and what should I expect to pay for it? How difficult is it replace? Looks like this would be a good start. Any chance it could be an issue with the batteries? Thanks for your help.

oh CRAP !!! no it's just rvx ezgo ... my bad !!! sorry i just fixed one and did not read the club car ...
you could start with a obc reset

To reset the OBC the following must be done in this order:
If no Tow/Run Switch then skip that step

• Key Switch to Off
• Forward/Reverse to Neutral
• Tow/Run Switch to Tow
• Disconnect the Battery NEGATIVE (–) wire
from the Battery Minus terminal on the battery
pack.
• Put the Tow/Run to Run
• Forward/Reverse Switch to Reverse
• Key Switch to On
• Lock the throttle pedal down
The reverse buzzer will sound and go off in about 30
seconds. Leave the cart like that for 5 min to cause the
OBC to reset.
To reconnect the OBC back into the system:
• Key Switch to Off
• Forward/Reverse Switch to Neutral
• Tow/Run switch to Tow
• Reconnect the Batt – wire to the battery minus
terminal on the battery pack.
• Tow/Run switch to Run

this may help ....

No harm done. One question (maybe stupid) for the reset. Does it matter which negative terminal? Any other possible reasons for this, like a bad battery? I really appreciate you helping me with this.
