Default 36v motor W/ gears

I have 96 CC DS 48v series cart. It has a 400amp controller in it, #4 cables, and a 36v motor in it. I was wondering if anyone had a opinion on how this combo would be with some high speed gears in the rear? Thanks for any help !

Works great in mine.. Only difference I have a 500 amp controller. I am using a 8:1 rear over the 12:1 stock. Don't do it if you are planning to go off road though. This is a highway set up. 35MPH with 23" tires and 6" jakes lift. 4 wheel brakes a must at this speed too!!

Im thinking thats too fast for what i ise my cart. I also think i would loose too much bottom end. Maybe i need to just send my 36er to Plum Quick for a bandit mod !

Yup it is!! And it gets a bit scary at all out, top end. Even with off set rims and spacers to get a wider stance. It will try to get squirrely on me. So I don't drive it that fast!! Just took it to top end to see what max speed was. GPS was 34.7MPH. They are really not made to lift like that and go fast. They tend to get top heavy and want to wander on you. I even put coil-over shocks off a 4 wheeler on the front and gas shocks on the rear to try to keep the top sway movement down!! It is street legal, licensed and insured. (but they don't know it goes that fast!!) Shhhhhh!!
