2011 club car precedent speed code 4 ???
Just got a new 2011 club car with 2011 48 volt batteries. I had the speed code installed and to say the least not very impressed with the change. What else can you do to these carts to speed them up? Will the speed sensor magnet change help anymore from what I have now? Stock tires are on the cart and I got 17.5 mph

Bigger tires will get you more speed.

If your batteries, speed control, and motor can produce enough torque!

You can send the motor out to EMP or PQ and have them do there magic on it to give you more speed..

Not all stock tires actually measure 18" so that may be part of your problem. You also may have low tire pressure, tired batteries or dragging brakes. |

Re: 2011 club car precedent speed code 4 ???
Your story mirrors mine. Fully inflated tires made almost a full mph improvement, but I still didn't make much past 17 mph. I wasn't happy until I put in my PQ Executioner. To do over from scratch, the best bang for the buck would have been to skip Speed Code 4 and use the money to simply swap my motor for the PQ Bandit.
