2005 clubcar
I am new to Clubcars and have some ?? I own 3 Ezgo series carts and now have a 2005 Clubcar Precedent cart. I am thinking of lifting the cart and use it on our hunting property (flat but at times wet). I have read that the controller has 4 speed setting, can you change settings? How? Is this cart of for a off-road cart? Thanks

Re: 2005 clubcar
Don't see many Precedents used as off-roaders but don't see why it couldn't be. If you are going to offroad it, you'll want to invest in something more than a spindle lift for it and probably heavy duty rear springs.
The stock setup does have 4 speeds but a programmer is needed to change the settings. In other words - you need to take it to a dealer. For speed 4, you need to purchase a code from Club Car and take it with you when you go to the dealer. |
