6" Lift Kit Installation
I just purchased a Rocky Top Cart 6" A-Arm lift kit along with new rims and tires for my 2003 48 volt Club Car. I have installed the front part of the lift on the cart but have a concern. The kit came with a plate that is supposed to be mounted to the front upper portion of the shock tower. The problem that I see is that the top part of the shock will only be connected on one side leaving the other side exposed with the nut from the bolt going through the shock and this metal plate. The orginial placement of the top of shock was inside of the shock tower giving it metal on both sides and appearing to be more stable. I currently have the shocks mounted in this location but am concerned that they will bottom out. Does anyone have a clue what I am refering too and if so do you have an answer for me? Thanks for you input!

Re: 6" Lift Kit Installation
I understand what your talking about. Although I don't like the design of that shock mount you should do as the MFG instructions tell you. I don't understand what your describing as "the shock bottoming out"....can you elaborate? Got pics?
