Exclamation help with 92 club car ds

hello i have a 92 club car ds when i got it i let my brother work on it and well the wires on the motor all got switched so i found the diagram on here and put them where they go and now the problems is that my cart will go in forward, but when i put it in reverse it sparks at the forward and reverse switch can someone please help me here~ thanks rebecca

Check to see if the cable from the switch is in the wrong place on the battery pack. Also make completely sure there are no other wires or connectors touching the reverse power cable connector on the switch.

Personally, I hook the forward and reverse power cables to the same place on the battery pack so I can have full power in reverse.

thank u so much for the reply! from what i have seen on the diagram on here and what my wires look like they seem to be all in the right place, could it possibly be the switch?

Please post a couple of pictures of both the battery pack and the switch. The closer to level with the back of the switch or the switch connections you can get would be best.

Also, those switches are junk and go bad sometimes. If you get a new one get an HD switch.
