89 CC DS 36v speed
I just received a 89 CC DS 36v with solenoids, resistors, and a wiper. This past weekend I finished all the cosmetics and now looking for a little more speed. The GPS app says I'm running 14-15mph on flat road. My questions is will cutting a section out of the last coil give me more speed and if so about how much? Also what difference will it make by changing the 6ga wires to 4ga and should I do all the wires or just the battery?

Re: 89 CC DS 36v speed
14 ~15mph is great never heard of cutting coil to increase speed some say 4ga wire gives extra 1mph an 89 cart should have good wires but most would check them and change whats needed |

Re: 89 CC DS 36v speed
Ask who ever told you that to share what they are drinking Cutting the coil will do nothing for top speed. The coils are out of the delivery loop at WOT.
