DIY brush guard
I remember seeing a post were a guy welded up a brush guard with out a tube bender. Does Anyone have a photo or plans of a brush guard that doesn't require a tube bender?

Re: DIY brush guard
Better late than never. Here are a few pics of the brushguard I made. It's made out of 1" galvanized conduit you can find at any Lowes or home depot, I paid 7 bux for a 10' peice, I needed 2 peices. You do need a conduit bender but look on Craigslist or an app like that (close5 offerup) I found one for $20. I'm by no means a metal fabricator I'm a carpenter by trade but I love a challenge and I don't like paying for things I feel can make. It took a few trys to get the bends right. But when I did I used the flux welder I have to get everything tacked where I wanted it and I was fortunate enuff to have a brother who's a mechanic to help finish the welds off and make them look pretty! Be sure to grind down as much of the galvi as possible before welding or thewleds won't come out good!! This was my first ever attempt at anything like this before but if you have sum halfa$$ garage skills and a tight wallet like me...anything's possible!!! $14 for the pipe, $20 for the used bender, $6 for a can of paint. Knowing you can make something as good as Jake's for less...priceless! Always accept a challenge!
