wide open
So my cart started running wide open. First half of pedal is nothing then it shoots out of the gate the second half. I'm sure there's some cleaning to do since this was a "barn find". My question is what can I do to test the different componets while I have them out to ensure I don't do double work. 36v club car. I have pulled out solenoid and throttle control

Re: wide open
Is this a resistor cart? If so, it sounds like your second and third solenoids have failed, causing the cart to jump straight to top speed. I would replace them all at once, or upgrade to a solid state system.
