Hard Jerking on acceleration
I purchased a 1987 club car with a new lift and tires 3 days ago and it didn't have much speed especially going up hills. Then yesterday, I began to feel it jerk when I accelerated (GREAT SPEED) Today, the cart jerks so bad, I think the jerking could break something. When I removed the seat and pushed on the accelerator, a spark appeared at the coil connected to the first solenoid to the left, if looking facing the front of the cart; I think ive gathered that is not the master. Anyways, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Hard Jerking on acceleration
Welcome to the forum and the fun of carting!
With resistor carts, hard jerking is almost always a stuck solenoid or solenoids. Replace them all at once, OR convert to a much more efficient solid state system... |

Re: Hard Jerking on acceleration
The master is the one on the driver's side. The rest should have resistor coils.
