48v with Powerdrive, goofy charging problem.
greetings, long time lurker.
Our 48v, mid '90's Club Car is not taking a charge. We installed new batteries last spring and everything has been excellent until this afternoon. After plugging in charger, the ammeter goes to the left?? past zero and the circuit breaker on the charger pops. What would cause this? Thanks, Kevin |

Sounds like a shorted diode in your charger. Here is a link to Bennetts, which has some manuals for chargers. http://bennettgolfcars.ca/manuals.php?tid=17
There will be a testing procedure for your charger if it is listed. |
