Now you have indicated numerous issues. Did you have a chance to test the cart with the new forward and reverse switch. If not some of your problems could start there.

Otherwise I am guessing your controller is done and hopefully you did not fry motor, obc etc.

On my 2000 cc I had a bad controller but my solenoid still engaged when pressing pedal. I think your year cart the controler goes on when pedal is pressed. On my 2008 the controller powers up with key on. The Alltrax controllers have led lights and it is easy to troubleshoot, unfortunately the Curtis controller is not so easy.

Assuming your fr switch is wired right and jumping solenoid did nothing then that points to controller. Bad thing is if you get a new controller and it still does not work you could have wasted money. Might want to take it to a dealer at this point.

What's pack voltage in the charger receptacle? I guess its possible that arcing controller terminals could have fried the controller and obc.

Check charger receptacle voltage.
Check for a fuse behind the obc like the one behing receptacle

Also even though you fried your cart you are still lucky, lucky you are still alive. Really unbelievable you would attempt any wiring without disconnecting the batteries. Hopefully the newbs on this site can learn that this is a bad idea.

I'm fairly sure the motor is fine, one quick spark won't kill a motor. I am worried about the controller and OBC. I did have plans on upgrading the controller since I'm using a bigger motor, so I'm not too upset about buying one. If the OBC is bad it's getting bypassed, I already have the charger on a remote timer anyway.

Dealer is out of the question, may as well buy a new cart.....

Maybe i'll put the old F&R switch back in and see what happens.

I'll check this and get back to you..... Didn't know I had another fuse behind the OBC.

Some do. I'm not sure when they started though so just take a look and see if you see another yellow fuse holder.

Find your cart system in this manual and make sure you have the new f/r wired right, along with the rest of the cart.

Its def not a good sign that the fuse blew behind the receptacle...through the obc.

It is possible the motor could be damaged. Controller isn't sounding so good. If you buy a new controller don't throw away the old one. I'll pay the shipping to send it to me

I have 51 volts measured where the charger cable plugs in.

I do have two stock motors that I could try. I also have a 36 volt resistor cart I could try that motor on.

Today was a little better.

I disconnected power, rechecked all my connections,

Found two microswitch wires swapped, this took care of the buzzer working in forward.

Also after I hooked the power back up the charging system is now working. I'm thinking by removing the power I may have reset the OBC.

now to focus on the possible controller issue.

I hope to rule out the motor soon by installing it into my other cart.

Thanks for this, I used it to figure out the buzzer issue. Lots of good info!
