I got 2ga welding cable from my local hardware store for less than $2 per foot.

I paid $1.64 per foot when I bought 35 feet including shipping, which came out to be .35 cents less then what was posted above

ok let me through something else into mix .. why use wire at all ? would not a solid copper bar work better ?
