Battery cable length
For future reference as I am change my cables out before long...On my cart and others that I have seen pictures of, they seem to have the same length bat. to bat. cables. Do they need to be matched in length? If not I can reduce the overall amount of cable used by turning half the batteries around. If you are custom making cable it looks like less would be better???

Re: Battery cable length
Less is better as long as you don't go to extremes. Every foot of cable robbs a little bit of power.

Re: Battery cable length
Less is better because it will have less resistance. Turning bats to reduce length is a good idea. Make sure you can remove caps though cuz you dont want to have to remove cables to water the bats.

Re: Battery cable length
The way it looks I can get rid of about 2.5-3ft of cable and not interfere with the caps at all.

Re: Battery cable length
Make sure you leave a little slack and do not interfere with the caps at all. Less cable is good all around as long as it isn't in the way of things.

Re: Battery cable length
You had better recheck your drawing. You have some of your + and - flipped. Make sure it matches your actual batteries.
