F N R install, please help
I am installing a new FNR switch on my club car. It seemed easy enough, but now which wires do I connect to which connectors? The old fnr switch is a different configuration than my new one, they are both 36v. Anyone got any detailed diagrams?

Re: F N R install, please help
your new switch should be identical to the old one.....are you sure you got the right one? if it was the right one its just a matter disconnecting main power and switching cables one at a time................what year? and double check you have the right part..............you posted a pic of the switch can you post a pic of the other one..............................

Re: F N R install, please help
my old one does not look like this one. the pic i posted is the new one, the old one seems to have been an aftermarket since it didn't quite fit into the slot perfectly. This new one is a club car fnr. The old one had 4 connections in a diamond shape. Obviously a lot different than this one.

Re: F N R install, please help
I did look at the wiring diagrams, unfortunately there isn't enough detail on the actual FNR unit for me to figure which wire to hook up to which connector. I'm afraid of buring something out, please help.

Re: F N R install, please help
OK I have narrowed the diagrams down to the :88-03 electric club car wiring diagram with v-glide. That's definitely mine, but I just can't make out which wire connects to which connector. Anybody able to help me out with a more detailed description of which wire goes where?

Re: F N R install, please help
OK I think I pretty much got the jist of most of the wiring, but, do you have a more detailed view, or higher quality diagram? I am a little unclear on the 2 wires from the battery to the 2 connections on the bottom of the FNR switch. I can't tell which one is negative and which one is positive.

Be sure when your ready to "crank her up" you have the rear axle on jack stands. Better safe than sorry.
