I am sure there are others that are very good but the only one I have tried is the Alltrax and I really like it. I like knowing I can tweak the settings if I want to try something a little different but in all honesty the factory settings are hard to beat. BTW Alltrax has been very easy to reach and very helpful in trying to answer any and all questions.

I second the Alltrax. Very reliable, very good customer service, and programmable for any scenario you may need...ie slow it down for the kids, or amp it up for play.

Thanks for the responses and insight I was leaning toward the Alltrax 500 however have read several threads about "jerky pedal" and lack of "smooth "takeoffs when used on the Precedent IQ ????

You could very well have jerkiness with an Alltrax, the others I dont know.

There are several throttle map available. On mine the one that has the best take off is pretty harsh, there is a map that is very smooth but I loose about 2 mph on top. I went into the program today and set plug brake to 0% and now it tops out at 32 with just me or with another adult on board. Love it!!!!
