Default Re: Battery question on new cart

A battery that will only hold 80% charge after only a few hours off the charger is almost out of life unless you just need it to run to the mailbox and back daily. Start saving for new batteries now.

Let me clarify that comment for crash test dummy. I take my batteries out of my cart once a year and i take a 6 volt battery charger and load test them. I charge each battery for 24 hours. Usally i can get each battery close to 100% charged doing it this way. Every time I ride my cart I charge it by the charger. If you look at my cart pictures you can probally tell that my cart pulls alot of extras being a FD vehicle. Im a firm beliver in taking care of the batteries and they will last.
