Battery question on new cart

So I purchased a 2010 CC with original batteries. The dealer I bought it from fot it from Club Car and said the batteries were good but since it had spent six months being reconditioned etc that the batteries will need to be cycled again to get them performing well. I charged last night and the pack had around 50.2 v at cut off. I ran for probably 2.5 miles today and now it sits at 49.2. This seems to be a quick drop. My question is once the batteries are run and then charged back up several times will they start performing better or is this a sign the batteries are weak. What should I expect?

You need to do a load test on each battery

Is your total pack voltage reading of 50.2v taken immediately after charging? It should be measured 12 hours after a charge cycle for an accurate reading.

Do you have 4-12v or 6-8v batteries?

Keep the cart plugged in daily, after it finishes charging unplug just the cart connector, wait 30 seconds for obc to reset and plug back in initiating another charge cycle. Do this a couple times a day for the next month and see if your pack voltage gets higher towards 100% (50.9v) measured 12 hours off the charger.

What I have found that works great for me is I individually charge my batteries every year and check my water level in them often. When I bought my first cart it had 2003 Trojan T-105 in it. I replaced the batteries in 2011 with Trojan T-105. 8 years on that set of batteries.

It is a 6x8 setup. I charged again last night and this morning they were reading 50.2 again for the entire pack (I have a digital volt meter). I am guessing this is a few hours after the charger shut off. That looks like only around 80-85%. It really struggled with hills yesterday and I hope that is a product of battery power. I had to go with a larger tire than anticipated (25") that is pretty aggressive and I want to have enough torque to climb a hill when needed and not worry about getting to the top.

You need to do a load test on each battery.

Also post each battery's voltage
