yes! never use brake cleaner on electric parts
use electric contact cleaner and emery cloth

guy said his cart would not go after addin water to batteries ... forgot to turn key on

Im getting ready to clean the v-glide with electrical cleaner. But I took the cover off and put it on jack stands before I started. I watched the wiper arm, you hear the motor click and start when the arm is on the 3rd pad, and it speeds up with every pad it touches until the last top pad. There is no speed difference between that one and the 2nd from the top. Any other ideas here, I haven't tried the cleaner yet just prepairing for the next thing. Thanks

pads should make good contact .. also all wires should be checked
