Default 94 DS speed problems

OK here is another one guys....

1994 DS 48v with new batteries, fully charged, V-glide cart. When you step on the gas pedal, cart starts to barely move, then wide open seems really hard to push pedal and is not very fast, cart loses steam going up a small hill???? I don't know what this could be, I have another right beside it and that one runs like a bat out of hell???

Check the serial number and post it. It is located under the dash on a white sticker in the middle. CC introduced 48v carts in 95 or 96, can't remember which one.
Check the batteries fill caps. 3 equals 36v, 4 equals 48v.
Are there resistor coils behind the batts by the motor, or is it a solid state cart?

Sorry I was getting my carts mixed up. This one is a 99, 48 volt with a v-glide, yes resistor coils at the motor.

Hmmmmm, resistor carts have to be 36v I think?
That could be the problem. Are you sure batts are 8v?
