36 volt club car problems
I have a 36 volt club car 1986. I think the solenoids are bad but not sure. has been messing up for a while now when you push the gas pedal jerks real hard and takes off wide open. it even stuck wide open once and I kept pushing the gas pedal to get it to come out of it. I don't hear the speed solenoids clicking. please any info will be greatly appreciated

Re: 36 volt club car problems
Put the cart on jack stands + remove the seat cushion.
When you press the gas the master solenoid (closest to the driver side) should click first, as you continue to press the gas peddle, the one next to it clicks and then the next and so on. If one or more do not click the cart will skip a 'gear' |

Re: 36 volt club car problems
that is exactly what it's doing. so does that mean I need to replace the solenoids?
