Default 05 precedent completly dead

we have a 05 precedent that is completely dead, we tried to reset the OBC, the reverse buzzer never even came on, batteries are all good, and cables seem good, there was power at the key switch also. I think its the controller is there any to test it? Or do we have to just get a new/refurbished one?

Firstly make sure the tow/run switch is in the run position. Key on and fwd/rev switch in either position does the solenoid click when you press the pedal. If not take a multimeter set to 200v DC place red probe on solenoid small terminal + and the black probe on controller Neg. and press the pedal. If you do not get battery voltage the problem is in the wiring not the controller.

Why do you automatically assume it's the controller? Does the MCOR click under the floor when you depress the accel pedal? The reverse buzzer may not be working because you can't wake the cart up. First step is to make sure you've got adequate battery voltage. Next step is to try and get the car to wake up. You can do this two different ways. One, by cycling the pedal. Two, by plugging in a charger and waiting for the charger to turn on, and unplugging immediately. This will wake up the system. Once you've attempted to wake up the car then we'll know more about your problem. If the car won't wake up with the charger method it's possible that your controller is bad, but still not for sure. The OBC can keep the car from waking up if it has failed. To determine whether it has failed or not you must bypass the OBC. You may do this with a paper clip. Un-plug the 6 pin connector of the OBC and jump the Red wire to the Blue wire on the car harness side of the connection. This will eliminate the OBC from the system and allow the car to run without it. Once you've done this if it still doesnt run, jump the MCOR the same way.... with a paperclip. There's a three pin plug and a two pin plug on the MCOR. Un-plug the two pin plug and jump the connections together inside the connector with the paper clip. As soon as you do this, you should get a solenoid click if your keyswitch is on and F&R selector is in F or R. Let me know your findings.....
