Exclamation CC brake adjustment

hey guys, i need to adjust my brakes on a club car precedent 07 i found the following video on youtube


but one of the comments says he did it wrong if possible can someone in the know watch it and tell me if this is right or wrong thanks.

That video is I believe for cars made before 1997. Later cars have self adjusting brakes and you need first to check your free play on the pedal which can be adjusted by removing the mat, lifting up the plate underneath it and tighted up the cable. If you remove the hubs the adjuster toothed cog is below the brake shoes, and can be adjusted by hand in need.

The Club Car service manual we use for our fleet of 40 Precedents recommends that the brake adjusting rod have 2" +or- space from the floorboard over it.

Yes, I use the CC book method. We have 40 Precedents at the golf course and that is the simplest way I have found yet.
