Default 2004 Club Car DS 48v IQ. Help!

I have used BGW in the past to help me with my golf cart problems. But, this time, I am stumped.

I have the chance to buy a 2004 Club Car DS 48v IQ with brand new batteries, charger, windshield, and club cover for $1,150. BTW, from pics, looks pristine. The catch, the cart is four hours away and doesn't run. From what I know, the batteries, solenoid, and resistor all have been replaced to no avail. I am pretty savvy when it comes to Club Cars but this time I am stumped. I have not seen the cart in person because it is so far away so I don't know if it clicks or not when you press the pedal. From what I have read on this forum, it sounds like the controller but I don't feel like dumping $300 into it if it's not the controller.

Any help is appreciated

I am not CTD but worse case scenario with what you have said would be the controller. Next would be the Mcor being bad. Good price but a LONG drive!!

Thanks CartTrader,

Are there any ways of diagnosing stuff on the cart to tell if it is the controller, mcor, etc.?

Also,

Are there different MCOR types depending on electric or gas, 36 or 48v and IQ or not?

Gas carts do NOT have a Mcor! 36v do not either. You would need a programmer to find out any info on the controller and other systems on an IQ cart.

I know this is a stupid question but, is the programmer needed to test if the controller is bad? If not, how can you test it?
