Called them but just got a recording - will have to try back in a couple hours I guess. Tried a second time - still just a recording.

Spoke with Eric/the seller on eBay - he's checking into shipping cost. I'm going to check the label/part# on my current motor tonight "just to be sure". Will know more tomorrow. Greg-g, if the shipping cost isn't too much of a shock and if the motor is fully compatible - I may have to invest in super-glue for my toupee!

Well, math killed the deal! One of the joys of living in Canada is that everything costs way more than it should. The great-deal $275 motor ends up costing over $500 with the cheapest shipping @ $150, Taxes, Duty & Brokerage (about $100). AND, I would have lost Regen braking which is something I actually use. All of that for about 4-5 mph. Who knows, maybe my batteries have lasted 11 years because Regen was gently keeping them "fed"?

In any case - as long as I'm smart enough not to be late for my tee times, I won't have to speed for the 1-1/4 blocks to the golf course!
