Hey Ken- I'm not aware of a Monroe shock for the front. I used Monroe's in the rear, but new Club Car OEMs in the front.

Alright guys, a few quick updates. I had a couple mix-ups and received the wrong seat, and the wrong-size bed, so thatís holding up the build for now. Got a few small things done in the last couple weeks.

My seat was trashed, with a rotten plywood base and holes in the vinyl. I considered re-building it myself with marine vinyl and treated plywood. But then, I found a company that builds replacement seats to exacting standards. They use a synthetic base that will never rot, stainless staples and T-nuts, and a heavy marine vinyl that is flame, fungus, and sun-resistant. Got my order placed and was excited when the seat arrived. Unfortunately, due to an error on my part they sent me the wrong seat base. Had to ship the first one back, and am now waiting for them to build and ship the correct base.

I also worked with All Sports to get a cargo box ordered. Unfortunately, when it arrived it was not the size specified. I called them, and they were very apologetic about the mix-up. We coordinated to send the first box back, and the correct size should get here Thursday. So close!

While I waited for those big ticket items I tackled a few other small projects. It was time to attach some diamond plate! First, I got the kick plate installed.

Next I got the diamond plate rocker panels installed:

After that, I cleaned up and painted the factory seat frame

While working on these, a couple other important items showed up. First, the rear receiver hitch. This is a stout unit that ties into the cart frame. Got it installed:

And, finally, something very important: New cup holders!! 4 total, two on each side. Went with the new style.

At this point, the cart is a neighborhood-cruising machine. Canít wait for the seat and bed to arrive, and to get some time to build the windshield frame and gun rack. But for now, with my rigged wooden seat, at least I can go drive around.

Wow looking good. Love the build and how all the projects have come together. Your tires and rims make for a sharp-sturdy looking platform!!

I can't tell you how many board/plywood drives have been made on rebuilds, but I know when I did mine i was a proud fellow, as I am sure you are

Keep the post/pic's coming

Very nice looking cart. Where did you get the receiver hitch if you don't mind me asking? I have been looking for one that ties into the frame.

Thanks guys!

Spring-The board seat may be a little Redneck, but it's a means to an end! Having fun cruising around.

Eagant-I got the hitch off Amazon, just search "Club Car DS Reciever Hitch". $50 and came with the hitch and pin. It was the best deal I found on them.

Thanks for the reply on the shocks. (That doesn't give me any options.)

I agree Eagant, your cart is looking really stout. Keep up the good work.
