Default 36 volt motor question and using one in a 48v cart

I see there are two different part numbers for the 36 volt cart motors

Model# 5BC48JB764 36V Part#1012191

Model# 5BC48JB771 36v Part# 1012653

What are the differences?

Is one better then the other for swapping into a 48 volt series cart then other?

Thanks!

I got this from " Luna ".
The first model listed is 2hp - 2800rpm
The second is 2½hp - 3300rpm

So will the 1st motor that has 2hp show the 25-30% gains that others have by swapping in a 36v motor on a cart that is 48v?

The first motor will have more torque than the second, the second will have more top speed. RPM equals speed, but at a loss of torque, just depends on how/ where you use the cart.
