Lester OBC replacement ?

I have a 2003 club car ds that i believe the OBC is bad on. The lester part# is 21065. I went to dealer and bought a replacement with the part# 27145. The dealer said it was the correct part , but when I got it home the sealed unit is lil different looking. Can any of you guys confirm that this is true?

I know there are many, many different versions of the OBC. This would be a TahoeDawg question.

I had to recently replace the obc on my 03 iq and the replacement unit I got looked a little different, but worked perfectly fine. I think the main thing is to make sure it has the proper wiring setup for your cart.

Do you have the club car part number off of both of them? You have to be careful because there are so many different OBC for the same year and model carts due to different battery configurations and small changes that cc made some will work ok and some not so good

Is that one with 2 yellow fused connections and 3 pin wire harness?

Mine has the yellow fuse hold up buy the charger socket, and square 6 pin connector coming out of the obc. The p/n off my original obc is 21155 02. The p/n of the replacement is 27165 02. The dealer I bought it from said it will work and it has charged the cart perfectly so far.

Yes, both of OBC wiring configurations are the same. 3 pin triangular connector with the yellow fuse holder. And thanks for all the responses. Gives me a lil more confidence that itll work.
