Are club car ds bodies interchange with Carry all gas?
Playing with idea of perhaps moving over to gas with my 36v club car ds. I know it's expensive to upgrade but I just saw a Carry All gas for sale for like $750. Is that a reasonable price if it runs? So was wondering if I can move all my cosmetic parts (painted DS body, seats, lift kit, roof) to to it since my electric looks way nicer then the gasser.

What are the year of both carts? This would be helpful.

Re: Are club car ds bodies interchange with Carry all gas?
My cart is a 94 the one I saw for 750 didn't say but it looked like a DS front.
I also notice a 1999 club car carryall but it was 48v. The price was close to 1k which is on low side for a 48v so it might be worth swapping my stuff over to that one . The way I see it if I start with a full cart to convert to I can always swap parts around and resell the other one later fully running and get my money back. |

Front body is same, same. The rest may or may not fit. You'd have to compare before or fabricate after purchase. Frankly, if you want a gas cart, buy one, vs. turning your electric into gas, IMO.

Yeah I would buy a gasser but I'd want swap my lift kit and body along with other cosmetic parts (re-done front and new back seat) on it since I put so much into it. Plus most cheap gassers look ugly beat up cosmetically.
