CC 2010 overweight limit burned up motor
New to this so please bear with me, I work at custom cart shop and owner brought in a cc2010 model that some big women were on,burned out the motor, well he had replaced motor, solenoid, controller, comp. and pedal assembly and still no go. Has full charge, after some searching on the motor cont. output I had voltage on two of the three wires put the connector back and was able to move the cart but only in one direction, if I changed direction it would not run until I unplugged the three wire connector and check the voltages again.....

Re: CC 2010 overweight limit burned up motor
Wow, I have never heard of a cart burning up due to heavy women!
I would bet a wire somewhere is not hooked up right, since basically every electrical component is brand new. Check and double check your wiring. |

Sounds like someone used the "shotgun troubleshooting" method and failed. Download a wire diagram and use a DVM, you will find your problem.

I will not lie,,,yes he said they were 2 VERY OVER THE WEIGHT limit , good thing it's a lifted cart, still I think would have rather ran cart in lake claimed insurance......lolololo I have wiring and DMV, also checked batteries with load tester, last thing I need is to double check the wiring for melted wires or missed connections.

Re: CC 2010 overweight limit burned up motor
OK guys ...checked wiring and all is correct. Using our meter to check settings on the controller, I find in the monitor mode , it shows that the pedal is pushed at 48%, I am assuming this is a problem since I have checked another cart and it shows 0%. I have changed the whole pedal assembly with no change...

sounds like the controller throttle input is set at 0-5k, where it should be 5k-0

If its an alltrax you can hook it to a computer and change the settings.
