no the charger does not have a trickle charge feature ..
charger will shut off around 44.5 v then settle down to 38.2 volts
38v is nearly 100%... you will see a drop when using the cart , as low as 33v... as long as it don't go below 36v at rest your good
depending on how old your batteries are your readings are good

ScottyB's meters have a very good reputation on this site & i hear he supply's good instructions and has great customer support for all he sells ... with that said there are other meters out there and you get what you pay for
