Yes, that's what I did, or if it's still available you could get the 12 volt electric shift

This is precisely the mod I had in my head! Someone already makes a kit? Who sells/sold it? You sir have my attention.

I ordered mine without the brakes ($40 cheaper) and without the sift levers ($60 cheaper) ...also got the manual diff-lock so that I could also mod it to be electric, I was thinking of putting them both on switches. The amount of the room the floor shifter took up wouldn't work for me. My woman likes to slide in close 😉, and thought I could do better than the "choke-lever pull-style" diff-lock.

Can't say enough about how nice of a guy Scott was over at Axle, Inc. I appreciate anyone who is busy yet takes time to talk to you. And he did just that.

One thing that stands out to me from looking at these pics are the high quality. Looks like good HD stuff.
