Default Rapid deceleration when I let off the gas

So I reset the obc and the cart is still seems to have a weird issue that I can't find in searches. The speed sensor works per the test. When I am driving at half power it surges and when it is full power and let off the throttle it comes to a stop very quickly instead of coasting to a stop. Any ideas of what it could be? I have not adjusted the brakes yet but it rolls just fine for the speed sensor test. It is a lifted 2008 48v (6/8v) precedent with new batteries.

Thanks for the help

Agree about possibly regent braking....

Try backing up at full speed and braking mildly hard, back up at full speed and then brake again. Do this several times to adjust the self adjusting brakes and see if it helps.

I'm about to go back at up full speed a few time and will report back soon... Where is the regen braking located on the drivers side? I think I found how to cut and tape the wires but I can seem to locate it.. Thanks for all the help!

What kind of cart? If it has regen brakes there should be a pig tail coming out of the back of the motor. If it is an IQ cart and you unplug it I don't think it will move at all. If it is a pre- IQ cart and has regen and you unplug it the braking should go away. Lot of folks know more about it than I do, maybe they will chime in. Come on Swan keep me straight if thats possible lol and if you need a wiring diagram CTD is the man.
