It is hard to tell with complete certainty but it seems to be from the controller..could possibly be OBC. They are so close together.

I feel real sure that it isn't the solenoid humming.

And the solenoid clicks good when provided with a good ground.

It seems that the green and white wire carries full voltage from micro switch goes to controller..there it is supposed to cause the blue wire to complete a ground for the blue solenoid wire...but..it is making a humming noise instead.

It seems that this is pointing to the controller more and more.

Do you agree? Or do you know of anything else that I could check?

UI appreciate all of this info more than you can imagine...I was getting so confused on my troubleshooting!!!

The only thing I am not really sure is if the controller is waiting from a signal from the MCOR potentiometer before it activates the solenoid, that is why I asked if you pressed the pedal with the micro switch bypassed.

and when i manually grounded the solenoid making it click...i then pushed pedal and motor worked..this led me to believe that the three wire part of pedal must be working.

If I read this right the cart runs when you provide a known 48v - to the solenoid activation on the minus side. If so, then it can be just a bad wire, wire connection, or a fault in the OBC.
In my experience if it is a fault in the OBC you can replace it or you can bypass this faulty function by providing a direct wire from the solenoid minus side to the pack or at B- on the control and the cart will run.

It's easy to verify this with a short wire and some alligator clips.

The controller sounds like it is working, except for the solenoid activation, which could be another lockout circuit.
Double check the Yellow and Green wires from the OBC connector are making good connection, I remember reading somewhere that is where the ground interlock from OBC to controller comes from....

Wouldn" the solenoid stay engaged all the time? Would that be ok?

More confused now than ever!!!

I ran me a jumper wire for a ground...i ran it through a toggle switch so that i could easily connect and disconnect..

I thought I was ready...put it all together..now...back to nothing...it wont move even with solenoid engaged now..

it tried to move just a little as i flipped the toggle switch on and off...but that was it.

I then disconnected that and ran a straight wire to eliminate the toggle switch as a problem...still nothing.

This is getting very discouraging now that tests are turning out different results..

When you say you put it all together, did You plug the 2 pin connector back in the MCOR? If so, did You check the continuity between the 2 pins to make sure the micro switch is working?
The lockout sounds like a typical OBC problem, but You had already replaced the OBC... Does the harness and all wires and plugs look in good shape and no loose connections from the OBC wires?
Check the back of the charger receptacle as well to make sure the gray sense wire is not shorted to ground....
