Default batteries been sitting story v22929

long story short, bought a 98 cc, has been sitting since feb without charging, i can turn the lights on and they come on but the cart doesnt move(not shocked about that), what steps should i take to try to charge these, i checked the levels, they are all good, cleaned the connections, should i charge, then recharge?

also how do i test the batteries? never done that before

Try to charge them. If they are too low in voltage, the charger may refuse to kick in. If that's the case, you may have to try to partially charge them individually with an automotive charger to get the voltage up enough to charge with the regular charger. You can't test them until you get them to take a full charge. You only need to hit them for a short time each with the automotive charger and you don't have to separate the batteries to do that. Just connect to one at a time and charge for a few minutes.

i did that, found that 2 batteries only hold about 4v, and were at .25v and .45v before we started the charger on them, i believe they are bad
