The cart looks good, but where's the Maverick emblems?

If you can get a piece of foam rubber that will snug everything up, it'll work to keep it in place until you can get a real mount made.

Do a search for Auxiliary Battery and you should find something that will work.

I got a chance to actually use the light last night. The battery did not move much, but still, I need to come up with something more secure before I hit the pastures. Some of that is pretty rough riding.

The wadded up beach towel shoved against it works now, but won't for long...

I will dig around here and see what kind of suggestions I can find.

As for the light, it works, but it is not a bright blinding light. I dropped the light about an inch by putting spacers under the bracket, which got the light away from catching on that front lip of the roof, which helped. But with the single row of lights, it is not a field lighter. But it lays out a nice flood in front of the cart so I don't need to continue driving around holding a flashlight.

Without a reflector setup, an LED will just scatter all over an have no throw. They need to be in a headlight type reflector with a lense. Of course the same is true for an incandescent lamp.

I put a two gun rifle rack on the front just below the "dash" in front of the front upright poles. That way I can keep an eye on the guns as I bounce through the bush, and make sure none of them bounce out of the rack and end up in the mud.

Those 5-star lights look NICE!!! I need to look into a set of those. Or two!

What surfboard do you have? I might be willing to trade. You are in Galveston, so you likely know Bob Martin and his Hurricane Surfboard shop. This is one of his VERY early boards. First year or two, most likely. I bought it at a garage sale, known him since I was a young kid first starting out. Used it once or twice and realized just how quickly the surfboard technology has come since the early 80s, and went back to my own modern boards.

This board is just a decoration (but it knocks down some of the banana spiders as we go through the pastures).

For those who don't know, here is a picture of a banana spider. Just a touch smaller than your hand...

As for the wolves...yes, we found a freshly dead cow this afternoon while taking the SKS out to sight in some new sights i installed. Wolves killed it thursday night, and left the remains for the vultures.
