Post Finding serial number

I am happy to find this forum and know I will spend many down time hours perusing the posts. In the short term though, I need help finding the serial number for my birthday present. It is supposedly a 2013 DS electric (Maroon) with exterior lighting kit and a flip up rear seat. Since I am new, I cannot post a link to a picture of it at this time.

My wife purchased this for me and it was delivered without any manuals. I've searched the web trying to find the serial number but there are no stickers anywhere on or near the dashboard. Actually, I've searched all over it and even crawled under the back to get a serial number off of the motor to send to Club Car, to no avail. I am looking at getting an operators and possible service manual for it but need the serial number information to get the right one. I would really appreciate any thought and help on where to go from here.

I does look new top to bottom, with 6 8V batteries. The 48V charger supplied looks used, but it functions so I'm not so picky as long as it doesn't give out any time soon.

Just talked to my wife at length. Turns out it is a re-manufactured Club Car. No ides what year and we're on a 'rent to own' deal? Sigh... Oh well. I still like it.

So new question, can anyone direct me to an operators manual for a Club Car DS?

The serial number sticker should be below the dash just above the aluminum ledge that holds the upper part of the floormat in place.

There is a link to club car owners manuals up in the stickies once You have the numbers.

Welcome to the site !

Thank you for the welcome, and the info. But I've looked there... and everywhere. The store must have removed it in their reconditioning. They have placed their own ID placard there (center just below dash) GEVD13-151363.

I'm afraid other items may have been replaced with non OEM parts too, not sure. Is there a major component with a serial number on it I can readily get to and send to Club Car for identification? How and where? Thanks so much.

Sometimes behind the center dash plate on the right frame is a serial number. Mine had been remanufactured (reconditioned) and they changed the serial #, But at least it was a serial # listed in the stickies. In the process of installing some light switches I found the original one behind the dash.

If you can find the serial # on the rear axle you can email CC with that # and they should be able to advise you of what year cart it is.

You encouraged me to get on my back on the garage floor again. LOL All under there is a beautiful shiny black gloss; axle, shocks, leaf springs, carriers, etc. The differential on the axle is shiny silver. Has Club Car markings and a number- 3239913 but it is cast in.

Hopefully this can get it done. Thanks all.
