Battery tray
My batteries are 41/2 years old. I will be replacing them most likely in the next year or so. I know the tray area will need a good cleaning. I have my voltage reducer just behind the batteries on a tray I made. I know with the batteries out their will not be much problem shorting something out.
I would like to know what you guys think would be the best way to clean the area up. Would steam cleaning work, or pressure washer. I would like to clean good enough to use some kind of sealer on the tray area. I know not to spray directly on any of my electronics. I plan to tape plastic over them to catch over spray. |

Re: Battery tray
I just used the Eagle one ethcing mag wheel cleaner. I think they key is it should say "etching" on it. It was recommended on this forum which is why I chose it. Made a 1985 club car frame look brand new with barely any scrubbing. I powerwashed the frame first. Sprayed on the cleaner and let it sit for a few mins. Went over the large areas once with a stiff brush and thoroughly washed off the frame with the hose. Brand new!
