Default Batteries Discharging Quickly

Have a 36v new batteries can't seem to get them to charge off of two seperate chargers. One would stay around 18-19v and eventually trip the breaker on the charger. Second charger was newer and would stay around 18-19v never dropping for about 8hours. Battery meter on cart still showed no charge. Disconnected charger and cart from batteries, used 12v auto battery charger after a few hours reconnected all leads, drove cart short distance and battery meter showed power draining quickly. Any ideas?

One or more batteries incorrectly installed, all batteries not in series, maybe.
Post a pic where we can see the tops of all the batteries

Thank you unfortunately the cart is in another state at my camper. I can assure you that the batteries are wired properly but after labor day I will post a picture.

If all the batteries are the correct batteries and they are all connected correctly then the only other reason 2 different chargers would not come down off of bulk charge ( I assume you meant 19 amps not volts?) is a bad battery.
What does the pack read when you get to camp and what does it read with the charger connected and on.

Everybody always says 'everything is connected correctly' until we find the problem, so we doubt.

The breaker in the charger? 36 volt chargers don't have breakers. You sure you don't have a 48 volt cart with the wrong batteries in it?
