57 chevy or 34 ford?
Hi guys! It has been 2 years since I built my first cart. It was royal blue with camel upholstery. This winter, I was thinking about a 57 chevy or a 34 (I think) ford. Has anyone done either of these? Do I have to modify the chassis and if so, how much? Welding required?
Thanks in advance! Kelly |

LOL, I meant a 57 chevy or 34 ford body kit for a (probably) CC DS!

As for the golf cart body kits, I've never done one, but I kinda always thought it would be cool. I think it depends on the kit, but a lot of them I've seen are bolt on, though I've seen more of the 57 Chevys than I have the Fords (Probably cause I'm a GM guy and I just ignored the Fords ) I think the biggest thing is the body work, some of them come straight from the mold and the bodies are "roughed in." With these the body work and painting is up to you. |

Re: 57 chevy or 34 ford?
First American car I would want in my garage in a few decades: The 2014 Vette and Volt. Ford has some real gems also, so this is by no means a dis on Ford. But darn! have you checked out that vette? This is coming from a hard core German car enthusiast. (Porsche 944t, MB E350 4matic)
I'm glad GM is still around. The collapse of the banking industry had more to do with their problems than their direction. These new vehicles we are seeing from them have been in the pipeline for some time now. |
